Let's just say I've checked out and am pretty done with how things are right now. M & I are fantastic. It's my home life I'm sick of. Here's some pictures of recent stuff. M and I took S's son P to the zoo yesterday.

It has been a while

Lots has happened lately - C had his first field trip (to the pumpkin patch), homecoming football game, train trip to Parkdale, first time on a farriswheel, finnegan's grand opening with the alphabatetions, and first time carving a pumpkin. Lots of pictures coming your way.....

This is from the winterhawks hockey game last night-they won against everett 3-2 in a shoot out!! C loved it and so did I M is talking about getting a 5 game package bundle or something like that..... Would be cool!

Curious events

C started school. Today was his first day. He seems to have had a good day, they had vasagna (lasagna) for lunch, but he just ate Mellon lol.

M and I are doing so so good. We are taking C to his (& my) first hockey game coming up on Friday. I'm pretty excited :-) It should be a good night. Saturday mom is going with us to the zoo for member appreciation weekend. Oh gosh-then Sunday my friend S is having a Jeff Dunham viewing party!

I've got some zbb pictures I'm adding to this post and C's first day at school and then a coveted picture of M :-) yay finally a picture of him-US!! Oh I forgot about momtopia.... C volunteered to have a snake around his neck-I was freaking out lol.

What a great night I had last night. Went and saw ZBB with my wonderful boyfriend mark. It was
Technically our first date, and I had so much fun!

ZBB opened the show with their song knee deep and from their they kept rockin it! Omg they did the best version I've ever heard of Charlie daniel's band's song 'the devil went down to georgia'. It was such a good show I am so so so so so glad I bought tickets!

Long day at work, and I left half an hour early - wasn't feeling good.   Throat, side pain....  yep  wasn't feeling good at all.   It was nice to get off a little early, got to spend some quality time kissing M....  yep, best way to kill time I think.   Met up with mom and C at the Portland Farmers Market off Hawthorne on 20th.  M met my mom.  Yeah, that was weird for me....  She's always awkward to meet after a long day at work, and I didn't warn her so she was surprised......   LAST  week on Thursday, old M gave me a ride home and C got super upset that he didn't get to say HI, so this week I made sure C got to say HI to the M that drove me home....   wow that's confusing and I typed it!

Tomorrow night M and I are taking C somewhere away from the city and  .........  Oh  no, I mean we are going to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower.  I'm looking forward to ti.  Hopefully C falls asleep in the car, and the full moon doesn't hinder out meteror viewing too much... I haven't been in a few years, so it should be pretty awesome, that and time with M is always awesome....

I'm trying to keep some distance between him and C at the moment because I dont want C getting attached like he did with ex M.  That break up wouldn't have been so bad for me if C hadn't kept asking where's M, where's M is M not my friend anymore.... UHHHHH  Well, buddy NO he's not...  Yeah, so I don't want that to happen again.

no, really though, the zoo is great if the people I drive would keep their fucking opinions to them selves... some people just like to meddle methinks.   I drive the short bus.. yes that's right, the short bus.  It's a 14 passenger SHORT BUS...  did you catch that... I'll say it again cuz it makes me laugh... SHORT BUS

C took swimming lessons for the first two or three sessions, and did super well.  He was the only 4yo at the Otter level so he was in a class by himself.....can back float now and is learning how to do arm circles for the front whatever you call it.  Amazing little boy.

SOOOO   as facebook says, I'm in a relationship!   M is super fantastic.  Still in the very early stages of things but is it bad if I'm ready to say things...  things that scare me....  things that are loaded......   Yeah?  ok... not yet, but just cuz I dont say it doesn't mean I dont feel it.   we went to council crest Monday night for our first "date" that was really nice minus the mosquitos that wouldn't stop eating him (my job?) and the clouds.... Stupid 'summer' weather..... Friday we're going to watch the meteor shower with C and that should be nice (I'll bring the bug spray).  It's kinda silly, but we have matching black bracelets.....  I am a hopeless romantic like that (I bought them at the fair)

OMG THE FAIR!!!   we saw REO Speedwagon in concert again this year.  WOW  such a good show!!!  they EFFING ROCKED IT!  I won box seats, but the seats we had were way better.  9 rows back center right WOW!!   so awesome!

What a great few days I've had.  What a great few weeks to come!  I love my new job, C likes his day care lady R.  I have a plan in mind for September as far as school goes.  Everything is really going good right now.

I know this is short, but we are going to Art Park tomorrow and I am exhausted!

it's good to be employed

Today was orientation at the zoo.  It was great, and most of what they were talking about didn't apply to me at all lol.  Tomorrow I learn how to drive a big passenger van, next Tuesday I have safety training, then Wed I start.  I come in an hour early to learn the route, then it's all me!  So excited to get started.

On a down note, C is sick.  Has a cold or something... woke up with a horse cough and 101.5 temp this morning and when I picked him up this afternoon from R's house (babysitter) he was asleep and lethargic when I woke him up.  I hope he gets better soon poor guy. 

I tried on my uniform shirt (uniform = black pants, black shoes, green polo provided by the zoo, name tag, dinosaur t shirt provided by the zoo that I get to keep at the end of the summer!,  and a half  zip sweatshirt)  anyway I tried the shirt on to make sure it fit, which it does, and C was like if I get lost at the zoo I find you cuz you are a worker.  LOL I was like if you get lost at the zoo you find me cuz I'm you mom silly!
